Henry Cavill on fatherhood: It's the most important time of my life

ritish actor Henry Cavill has shared a rare and heartfelt glimpse into his personal life, opening up for the first time about becoming a father. Known for guarding his privacy closely, the 42-year-old star revealed that the birth of his daughter has ushered in a new chapter.
In an interview with British GQ Magazine, Henry was asked to describe the most important moment in his life so far: "My daughter being born, and the five of us [partner Natalie, daughter, Cavill and their two dogs] settling into our forever home."
Henry and his partner, television executive Natalie Viscuso, welcomed their first child in January 2025. The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2021, had kept the pregnancy private, choosing to share the news only casually during the premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare in April 2024. "Natalie and I are very, very excited," he said at the time.
Since then, the actor has only occasionally referenced fatherhood, most notably on Father's Day when he posted a playful Instagram message asking fans for parenting tips.
Despite embracing family life, he admits that balance is still a work in progress. "Ordinary life? I'm not sure I remember that!" he laughed. "Seriously though, it can be difficult. Daily routine is not a luxury that I am afforded, but travelling to far-flung places and the opportunity to be storytelling at the level that I am makes up for all of it." HTC...
