India, Dec. 21 -- Singer Chinmayi Sripada hit back at a social media troll who referred to her husband, actor-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, as a 'puppet'. The exchange unfolded on X, after the 41-year-old singer made a post praising her husband's first National Film Award win in the Best Original Screenplay category for the film Chi La Sow (2018) and for the success of his recent release The Girlfriend. She wrote, "Who'd have think that a boy will learn a new language well into his late 20s, write his debut directorial eventually in Telugu, winning his first National award for best Screenplay right amongst giants in the field. And now in the best films of 2025. Proud of this man. Always." However, a troll commented under the post, "He is actually a puppet dancing to all your tunes!"
