India, Dec. 10 -- C ricketer Hardik Pandya took to his Insta Stories on Tuesday to slam the paparazzi after videos of his girlfriend, model Mahieka Sharma, exiting a Mumbai restaurant recently surfaced online. He accused some media outlets of using angles that turned an ordinary moment into an embarrassing one for her. Taking to social media, Hardik shared a strongly worded note, accusing photographers of crossing a line and turning a routine outing into "cheap sensationalism". He wrote, "Mahieka was simply walking down a staircase at a Bandra restaurant when paparazzi decided to capture her from an angle that no woman deserves to be photographed from. A private moment was turned into cheap sensationalism." The 32-year-old added, "This isn't about headlines or who clicked what, it's about basic respect. Women deserve dignity. Everyone deserves boundaries. To the media brothers, I respect your hustle, and I always cooperate. But I'm requesting you all, please be a little more mindful. Not everything needs to be captured. Not every angle needs to be taken. Let's keep some humanity in this game." Hardik confirmed his relationship with Mahieka, 24, in October this year, weeks after dating rumours began circulating. He was previously married to actor Natasha Stankovic for four years, with whom he shares a four-year-old son, Agastya. The couple announced their separation last year. HTC...
