				India, Oct. 26 -- Golfer Gangesh Khaitan has added a proud milestone to his illustrious journey with his recent inclusion in the India Book of Records for representing India in international golf for an extraordinary 55 years (1970 - 2025). This honour follows his earlier recognition in the Limca Book of Records, where he has been listed since 2019 for 50 years of representing the nation (1970 - 2020), a testament to his rare consistency and lifelong dedication to the sport.
Gangesh's achievement stands as a symbol of discipline, perseverance and passion nurtured over six decades on the fairways of Kolkata, Delhi and the world. His calm demeanour, integrity and sportsmanship have made him a role model for generations of golfers.
Adding another feather to his cap, Gangesh recently won the Asia Pacific Senior Golf Championship 2025 in Manila, successfully defending his title in the 70+ category after last year's victory in Vietnam.
