India, Nov. 15 -- F ilmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan has offered a rare glimpse into her marriage with director-editor Shirish Kunder, revealing the challenges the couple faced in their early years. Speaking on Sania Mirza's podcast Serving It Up With Sania, Farah said they used to fight frequently because she would insist he accompany her to social gatherings, situations where he often felt ignored or sidelined. "People used to talk only to me and ignore my husband because I was more successful at that point," Farah admitted and added, "It made him uncomfortable, and I didn't like it either." Over time, the couple found a balance: "If he's uncomfortable around a set of people, he doesn't have to come. I want him to be happy and at peace." Farah also explained why she prefers to keep her personal life away from the spotlight. "We know we are secure in our marriage. We don't need to hold hands on the red carpet. Sometimes, the more people are doing that, the more something is brewing." Farah and Shirish, who met during the making of Main Hoon Na, married in 2004 and became parents to triplets in 2008.
