India, Oct. 31 -- F or Indian fans who grew up on his love songs, Enrique Iglesias' return to India felt like meeting an old friend again. A little older, a little rougher around the edges, but still as charming as ever, the Spanish singer performed at Mumbai's MMRDA Grounds on October 29 and 30, his first shows in India since 2012. From Bailamos and Escape to Hero and Be With You, every song turned into a chorus of voices. When Enrique paused midway through Hero, the crowd carried the tune while he smiled, folded his hands and said "Namaste". He even teased the opening of Panjabi MC's Mundian Tu Bach Ke Rahi, earning cheers from the audience. His voice may not have been flawless, but his warmth and connection with fans filled every moment. At one point, he reminisced about his first trip to India in 2004, drawing loud applause from those who had followed his journey for decades. Celebrities such as Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Sonal Chauhan and Pragya Jaiswal were seen singing and dancing along.
