Ektaa has earned the right to say whatever she wants: Ram Kapoor
India, Sept. 28 -- Actor Ram Kapoor has defended his long-time collaborator, producer Ektaa R Kapoor amid a swirling controversy over weight loss and body image. Ram (52) stunned fans earlier this year by losing 55kg in one year, with some speculating the use of Ozempic.
He neither denied nor confirmed the reports, but Ektaa (50) did refer to Ozempic being used as a weight loss drug on a podcast.
She recently clarified that her remarks, which were widely interpreted as a jibe toward Ram's transformation, were never meant for him, but were promotions for her show.

Their professional history dates back about 18 years, having collaborated on successful shows including Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Kasamh Se.
"What Ektaa has done for me and my career is something I will never forget. She gave me a platform to fly," he says, adding, "It doesn't matter whether we're on good terms or bad terms. I am what I am because of her. She has earned the right to say whatever she likes."...
