India, June 15 -- Actor Shoaib Ibrahim shared that his wife, actor Dipika Kakar, recently underwent a 14-hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. She has been discharged after 11 days but will require ongoing follow-ups due to the malignant tumour. Shoaib shared in his vlog that Dipika was discharged after 11 days and is recovering well following her surgery. He expressed gratitude for all the support and prayers, acknowledging that while the major surgery was successful, there are still many challenges and follow-ups ahead. He added that they are committed to following the doctors' guidance as they navigate the road to recovery. After her 14-hour surgery, an emotional Dipika personally thanked her doctors and hugged the nurses as she left the hospital. Elaborating on her health, Shoaib said, "They've asked us to come back in a week. After that, they'll decide what further treatment is needed -- whether something needs to be done or not."
