Delhi's tryst with classical traditions
India, April 9 -- Classical music enthusiasts and patrons gathered at the Kamani Auditorium in Delhi's Mandi House recently, where the 13th Bhilwara Sur Sangam celebrated India's rich musical traditions.
The opening night of the two-day festival witnessed a rich showcase, including a Hindustani vocal recital by Bhagyesh Marathe, followed by a Saraswati Veena performance by Jayanthi Kumaresh.
Reinforcing the festival's legacy, Ravi Jhunjhunwala, chairman of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, said, "Celebrating Indian classical music at the Bhilwara Sur Sangam is an honour we hold close to our hearts.
