India, May 10 -- Actor Deepika Singh has opened up on her recent health scare, when she was rushed to the hospital. It was being reported that lost consciousness mid-shoot on the sets of her show Mangal Lakshmi on May 2, with some speculating whether it was due to dehydration and excessive heat. However, she tells us that was not the case: "I did not faint on the set of my show. I was at home, where I felt uneasy and fell unconscious. That day, my sodium level dropped drastically leading, to the health scare. I want to reiterate that the incident didn't happen on the set while shooting, as reported on social media." The 35-year-old adds that she was suffering from low blood pressure. She had taken a day's break due to an acidity bout, which led to other health issues. She was only hospitalised for a few hours and administered a drip by her family doctor. Now, she's already back and shooting on set. However, she is "not doing lengthy scenes yet". "We all have certain health issues which have nothing to do with the rising temperature or heat. Also, low blood pressure does take time to recover; it takes a few days. I always want to be energetic and give it my all while shooting. I wanted to resume work because, as actors, it's our job to complete what's in hand on time. Also, being on set is something that keeps me happy," she signs off....
