India, July 14 -- The new Superman, actor David Corenswet has been receiving appreciation for taking up the baton of the revered superhero. However, the role did come with its fair share of challenges and injuries. David and co-star Nicholas Hoult, who plays Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor in the film, recently appeared on an episode of Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test. Nicholas asked him about the "wildest bruise" he got while filming, to which David responded recalling an "epic" flying scene with a harness, when he got a bruise on his "right testicle." "There's footage from filming of me getting pulled through the air," David shared, adding, "It's this wonderful epic moment. It's in the trailer, the beginning of it, where I stand up and punch the glass out and then I leap out the window and fly through the air. And on the first take of that, it's this big epic punch and a leap through the air, and then just, 'My testicle!'"
