New Delhi, April 27 -- World Dance Day (April 29) is nothing less than a festival for people associated with the performing art, but for Natya Tarangini dance school - founded by the Kuchipudi exponents Raja, Radha and Kaushalya Reddy - it means much more as it coincides with their 43rd anniversary.

"Students are really happy to be part of a celebration that honours their talent. They are very enthused about it and come every evening to practice wherein they (carefully) observe the corrections that (have been suggested to them). There is a festive mood all around us," informs Kaushalya. She adds that to help students get a feeling of "what performing on stage is all about" the institute has its "own amphitheatre" for all the rehearsals.
