Content creators don't recognise Amit Sadh, but social media loves his humility
India, Aug. 28 -- We've seen you somewhere but don't remember your name - public figures often get this during random fan encounters. But one such incident involving actor Amit Sadh and Delhi-based street photography duo @therealstreets_ has stirred the hornet's nest on Instagram.
The duo spotted Amit at Khan Market and approached him, saying, "We're portrait photographers and take strangers' pictures." Amit (46) quipped, "Are you paying in Bitcoins? I'm an actor, I don't work for free." To this, the creators replied, "Humein laga hi tha aap koi actor ho, but yaad nahin aa raha tha kahan dekha hai." Amit obliged them with the portrait shoot and later dropped a lengthy comment on the Reel (see right).
The Reel garnered over 1.4M views, 58k likes, and 1.5k comments, with several users calling out the photographers for not recognising the actor.
"Never say that I don't remember your name. It's disrespectful," wrote astrologer Pooja Saproo. Kriti Dhiman, a former cooking reality show contestant, wrote, "The way he handled the situation is commendable. I relate to the feeling of people looking at you and not being able to pinpoint where they know you from.
