Cheryl named co-admin of late Liam Payne's $32.2M estate
India, May 9 -- Seven months after Liam Payne's tragic death, his former partner Cheryl has been named co-administrator of his $32.2 million estate, alongside lawyer Richard Mark Bray. The 31-year-old former One Direction star died in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. As Payne left no will, the estate will be managed under UK intestacy laws, with his eight-year-old son Bear expected to inherit. Cheryl, who called his death "earth-shattering," currently cannot distribute funds until legal procedures are completed.
