India, Jan. 14 -- Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is facing controversy after a Canada-based artiste accused him of cheating and hiding his marriage during their alleged relationship. The artiste named Ms Gori, part of Twin Rap Duo Nyx & Nym, claimed that she was in a private relationship with Karan, unaware of his marriage to Palak Aujla. She alleged that after the matter surfaced, she was "silenced and publicly shamed," with Karan's team spreading false information through an Indian influencer. A screengrab of her statement surfaced on Reddit (see right), where she wrote that police in Canada and the US are investigating the matter, She added, "A major US media outlet is now preparing to interview me, and for the first time, I'm choosing to speak on this... Multiple celebrities in India have reached out privately, saying they're inspired by me speaking out." We reached out to Aujla but he refused to comment.
