India, Nov. 7 -- Actor Brad Pitt is seeking $35 million (over Rs.310 crore) in damages from his ex-wife, actor Angelina Jolie in their ongoing legal dispute over the French winery Chateau Miraval. Court filings dated October 29 reveal that Brad's legal team submitted emails from Angelina's representatives indicating he is pursuing the claim for alleged harm to the winery's business following her sale of her stake, reported Us Weekly. Brad originally filed the lawsuit in November 2022, alleging that Angelina sold her share of Miraval in 2021 to a third party without his consent, breaching an agreement that neither party would dispose of their interest without the other's approval. Angelina is disputing that such an agreement existed and responded with a countersuit, calling Brad's case part of a "vindictive war" against her. Meanwhile, Brad has claimed that after years and considerable investment in Miraval, the sale undermined their joint efforts and allowed a new party to gain control of the business, damaging its operations. He has asked for documentation and communications from Angelina and from the acquiring company to support his demand. The two, once together for 12 years, including two years of marriage, separated in 2016 and their divorce was finalised in December 2024. htc...
