India, March 19 -- Actor Babil Khan has begun work on a new action film after a year-long hiatus to focus on his mental health. The 27-year-old had shared an emotional Reel in May last year, calling the industry fake and criticising some actors. He later took it down and deactivated his Instagram account, prompting concern and conversations around his well-being. Now, Babil, last seen in Logout (2025), seems ready to resume work. "The shooting started six days ago in Bhopal and it's a high-octane action film," a source tells us. The schedule will continue in the city until mid-April, after which the unit will move to Mumbai and Delhi for subsequent phases. The source adds, "It's a high-action-based role.
