ARMY left disappointed as BTS skip India in new world tour
India, Jan. 15 -- After months of anticipation, BTS on Tuesday announced their 2026 world tour after a nearly four-year hiatus. The seven-member K-pop band, featuring RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, will perform across 34 regions in five continents with 79 shows scheduled through 2026 and 2027, complete with an immersive 360-degree stage.
What caught the attention of Indian fans was that the routing did not include the country, despite V's Weverse live on December 27, when he said, "Namaste, namaste, Indian ARMY. See you next year!"
Within hours, social media was flooded with reactions from the Indian ARMY. While some began exploring travel routes to the nearest host cities, others shared disappointment. One user wrote, "Since you are not coming to India, expect zero support from here. Do not bother to come later either." Another joked, "Since BTS India tour will be next year, should I invest that on silver shares since it's on the rise right now?"
