India, April 1 -- The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi recently commemorated Bangladesh's 55th independence anniversary in a festive atmosphere. The Bangladesh High Commissioner, Riaz Hamidullah, hosted a reception that kicked off with national anthems of Bangladesh and India rendered live by ace musicians who travelled from Dhaka. In the backdrop of traditional Jamdani and Sandesh motif decor, the celebration enthralled the audience with folk music.
