A celebration of lifeand literary contributions
India, May 30 -- A recent memorial was organised by the professors of Delhi University in remembrance of Dr Indra Chandra Shastri. A scholar, philosopher, writer and lecturer, he was remembered for his lifelong contribution to Sanskrit writing.
Even though Dr Shastri gradually lost his eyesight in the last two decades of his life, he wrote close to 70 books and 300 research. Additionally, a book authored by him 60 years ago, titled A Study of Nyaya Manjari by Jayant Bhatt was launched during the evening.
Among those present were professors Bhartendu Pandey and Om Nath Bimali....
