A celebration of language for young minds
India, April 26 -- A recent event was held with great fervor by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) at Guru Harikrishan Public School, Kalkaji. The event, a part of DSGMC's efforts to promote the Punjabi language, recognised the outstanding achievements of 31 students from 10th and 12th standards who scored above 90% in Punjabi language.
Dr Sarabjeet Singh, founder of the Main Tera Haan organisation, presented the awards and announced that his organisation will support the education of these meritorious students.
The celebration featured vibrant performances, including Punjabi poetry recitals and music, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. DSGMC officials emphasised its importance in preserving the community's identity.
