'Who'd have imagined me scoring with Hans Zimmer on Ramayana?'

itesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, is shaping up to be the biggest Indian film ever made, and it's bringing together two musical powerhouses: Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. Zimmer, known for his work on Dune and Interstellar, will be collaborating with Rahman on the film's score.
In a recent interview with Connect Cine, Rahman shared his excitement: "Who would've imagined me scoring with Hans Zimmer on a project like Ramayana, one of the biggest films? It's our Indian culture, and I'm really proud of that project. I hope everything goes well."
Speaking about the process of working with Zimmer, he revealed, "The first few sessions were great - London, LA and Dubai. Wherever Zimmer travels, I find a base there. He's very curious about culture and open to criticism. He also leads the narrative, asking, 'Can I bring in a Western perspective here?'"
