India, Oct. 20 -- A s the country celebrates Diwali, Adivi Sesh will be spending his day on set. The actor, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Dacoit in Hyderabad, says work may keep him busy, but the festival always holds a special place in his heart. The actor recalls one Diwali that remains etched in memory - his first after buying his own home in 2016. "When I moved back to India, Diwali came barely two days later, so I was still settling in," says Sesh, who was raised in California before returning to India in 2011. He adds, "But the first Diwali after I bought my home felt incredibly special." He vividly remembers the moment: "It was this big, empty penthouse with no furniture, just space, quiet, and light. I must have lit around 200 diyas all over the house on my own. It felt like I had achieved something. Kshanam (2016) had just done well, and for the first time I could afford to buy my own home. I kept thinking about which room mum and dad would stay in when I convinced them to move back from the States. It was beautiful." Now recovering from a leg injury, Sesh is filming only non-action sequences of Dacoit while also developing G2, the sequel to his 2018 spy thriller Goodachari. But work won't stop him from celebrating. "I'm hoping to light diyas with my parents in the evening," he says. "We don't burst crackers because of Beera and Bagheera, my dogs. And I'm going to make sure I don't eat too many sweets, we'll have a small puja at home."...
