India, Oct. 15 -- J onita Gandhi is the latest among popstar Ed Sheeran's Indian collaborators, having lent her voice to his track Heaven. Talking about being part of the British singer's upcoming remix EP, singer tells us, "I've been such a huge fan of Ed for as long as I can remember, so getting to collaborate with him on this version of Heaven feels really special. After having the chance to meet him and even open for his concert earlier this year in India, I was blown away by how genuine and grounded he is - and how much he truly appreciates the music and culture here," said Jonita. This collaboration is a first for Sheeran, as it features Hindi lyrics - something theis especially proud of. "I think this is the first song of his to feature Hindi lyrics, and I'm so honoured to be the one to do it. It's a beautiful love song, and I feel so honoured to bring a little bit of my personality and heart into it. I'm excited for people to hear this version!" she said. The singer-songwriter described the release as perfectly timed. "Excited to be on this lineup of incredible Indian artists alongside Ed Sheeran for his remix EP! October is birthday month for me and with Diwali just around the corner I feel like this is perfect timing. Heaven is an earworm - I hope everyone loves my touch on it," Jonita added. The EP, an extension of Ed's latest album Play, features other Indian artistes such as singer Karan Aujla on Symmetry, rapper Hanumankind and composer-singer duo Santosh Narayanan and Dhee on Don't Look Down....
