India, Nov. 19 -- Actors often go to extremes to bring alive intense characters on screen. And once the project is complete, they sometimes find it hard to go through the process of dissociation. Ranveer Singh reportedly sought therapy to get out of his Alauddin Khilji (Padmaavat; 2018) mode, and Ranbir Kapoor too slipped into depression after Rockstar (2011). However, there are others who go into self recovery mode to dissociate; and Tabu is one of them.

The 48-year-old reveals that it does take time but - be it Nimmi (Maqbool; 2003), Ghazala Meer (Haider; 2014) or Simi (Andhadhun; 2018) - she has mastered the art of dissociation over the years.
