'Being celebrated after a decade means something'
India, Nov. 10 -- Actor Rana Daggubati has essayed several roles over the years, but his portrayal of Bhallaldev in filmmaker SS Rajamouli's Baahubali franchise remains etched in cinematic history. As Baahubali: The Epic re-released in theatres to an elated response from fans, Rana calls it a reminder of the film's lasting impact.
Talking about audiences reliving the experience, he tells us, "A film stays forever. Something that's as defining as Baahubali was, for us in India, not just as filmmakers or people in the film, but just as the audience itself, is very iconic. With a hint of pride, the 40-year-old adds, "The fact that it's celebrated after a decade really means something."
