India, June 1 -- After winning the title of Liva Miss Diva Supranational, Ayushree Malik has her sights set on Poland, where she will represent India at Miss Supranational 2025. "I was brought up on the values of patriotism and doing something for your country. Now getting the chance to grow in my career, while representing my country is an immense honour and I'm so grateful for this chance," she tells us. Being crowned Miss Diva Supranational, Ayushree says, was a moment of pride not just for her but her mum, too: "I was raised by a single mother; she has done a fabulous job in balancing being a policewoman and a mum." While she credits her mother for her trajectory, the 20-year-old adds that losing her father to a road accident at the age of seven also shaped her world view. "I know how it feels to lose a parent and dealing with grief [on your own] since grief counselling isn't very open in our country. Through my Ground Up project (an initiative by Miss Supranational) Brave Hearts, I wanted to create a platform for awareness that lets one talk about their grief in a safe place." Aiming to bring the third Supranational crown home, Ayushree says, "I've been visualising the moment, because that really helps you to attract what you want. I visualised that I'm getting it for each person who's been there on my journey and everyone I can serve with this crown."...
