India, July 9 -- Raunaq Sahni, a 27-year-old YouTuber and content creator from Delhi, travelled over 3,600km, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, with a unique premise in mind - travel across India for free, by relying on the kindness of strangers. Hitchhiking, walking and trucking, he has used all the methods of transport in his 30-day journey. He says, "To make it even more interesting, I made a rule that whatever money I spent each day, I'd earn it back by doing odd jobs. During this trip, I got the chance to meet people from all walks of life." He earned Rs.18,000 during the trip. "I did different types of jobs. I became a photographer at Lal Kila, India Gate and Khan Market in Delhi," says Raunaq. A trip to Mumbai's Chor Bazaar resulted in him earning Rs.15,000 in one day: "As a content creator, I shot promotional videos for the shops. Bahut rejections face karne pade, but some people believed in me. In fact, one man came up to me, offered me Rs.2,500 and asked me to create a reel for him." The conflict between India and Pakistan put this effort on pause, forcing him to go home. But Raunaq began the trip right where he left off. He says, "If you put your mind to it, the universe conspires to make it happen. I am an introvert, but when you get out of your comfort zone, magic will follow." The aspiring filmmaker will donate the money - Rs.2 lakhs - that would've been spent on this trip and his earning from odd jobs: "I want to help a dhaba waala, who let me sleep in his stall in exchange for washing his vessels. But when it came time for me to repay him, he refused and said, 'You are my guest, I can't let you do this.' I'll help him to build a washroom and add a board for his stall so that more people can stop there."...
