Amritsar, Feb. 7 -- AICC general secretary Bhupesh Baghel also addressed a MGNREGA Bachao Sangram rally in Jandiala Guru, organised by former party MLA Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala, where he promised that once the Congress government returns to power in Punjab in 2027 it will make special provisions for the labourers so that they are not affected by its withdrawal. Similarly, he said, once the Congress government was formed at the Centre in 2029 with Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister, the MGNREGA will be restored to its original form.
