Will complete full term as K'taka CM: Siddaramaiah
Bengaluru, July 3 -- Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday asserted that he will be in office for a full five-year term and dismissed speculation of an internal power shift in the ruling Congress, even as party general secretary in-charge of the state, Randeep Singh Surjewala, continued his one-on-one meetings with party legislators for the third consecutive day.
Talking to reporters ahead of a special cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapura district, Siddaramaiah said the Congress was united and the party-led government will be in power "solid as a rock" for five years. "I will be Karnataka CM for five years; why should there be a doubt?" he said.
