Rohtak, Nov. 15 -- Former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday said that the results of Bihar assembly polls are not in accordance with the public support that the grand alliance had anticipated. Interacting with reporters in Jhajjar, Hooda said that the grand alliance did not expect such an outcome. "The party will analyse the reasons behind the Bihar defeat and conduct a thorough review," he added.
Hooda said as a responsible main opposition party in Haryana, the Congress delegation met governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh and submitted a memorandum seeking action on farmers' losses due to heavy rains, irregularities in paddy procurement, rise in corruption in ration card distribution. htc...
