Why ranbir Won't let alia follow his fInsta
India, Nov. 15 -- In an era when most celebrities carefully curate their social-media personas, actor Ranbir Kapoor remains one of the few who refuse to join the fray. And although he has admitted earlier to quietly keeping an eye on Instagram through a private account, he recently repeated the revelation at an event in Dubai.
"I'm not officially on Instagram. I have a finsta (fake Instagram) account. Many amazing people in the world do such inspirational stuff, so you do wanna follow them. But as an actor, I already have a medium to show myself off to the world. That's enough for me. I didn't want to be on Instagram officially," the 43-year-old said.
His wife, actor Alia Bhatt, added, "He's got like all of two Reels on his finsta account that only he and two people will see. Both show him playing with Raha (their three-year-old daughter)."
The 32-year-old said she isn't allowed to follow her husband on Instagram, to which Ranbir replied, "If she follows me, then the world would get to know."
Ranbir noted that he's been asked this question for years and always gives a different answer, which "may not be the truth". "But I have to come up with different answers because otherwise I'll seem boring, as it's been 10 years and I'm always asked this question," he explained. HTC...
