India, Oct. 8 -- In January 2023, actor Randeep Hooda along with director Syed Ahmad Afzal formally announced the second part of Laal Rang (2016) titled Laal Rang 2. The second part is expected to pick up from where the last film left off; the crime drama follows two gangs in Haryana involved in a territorial war and blood theft. Soon after the announcement, the film was put on the back burner with no further developments. Earlier this year, a source close to the project revealed that Randeep, who is also a co-producer on the film, is currently looking for "the right partner" for the project. Now, Randeep has confirmed this development to us. "It is one of my favourite movies as well. I would love to do that film but not in the half-hearted way that we shot the first part," the actor shares, adding, "We are looking for proper partners to come on board with us and do justice to the first part that is not less than a cult classic."
