Chandigarh, Dec. 27 -- Veer Baal Diwas was observed in the child care institutions of Chandigarh in accordance with the directions of the ministry of women and child development, government of India. A 10-day series of activities was organised by the Union Territory Child Protection Society under the aegis of the social welfare department, from December 16 to 26, 2025, across various Child Care Institutions. On the occasion of Good Governance Day, a declamation competition was organised on December 26 by MY Bharat Chandigarh, ministry of youth affairs & sports, government of India, at the Biotech Conference Hall, Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh.
