Mohali, Oct. 18 -- Police have booked nearly 10-12 unidentified men for allegedly assaulting a hotel owner and a housekeeping staff in Zirakpur. According to a complaint filed by Rinku, the housekeeping staff at the hotel, he was performing his regular duties while the owner was at the reception when the group entered the hotel premises and began arguing with the owner. The situation escalated quickly and the men attacked him and the owner. Rinku stated that one of the men caught him by his hair, dragged him into a dark room inside the hotel and beat him up. He was then pulled outside and left on the road. Both Rinku and the hotel owner sustained injuries and were admitted to the civil hospital, Dhakoli, for treatment.
