Mohali, Dec. 6 -- An unidentified driver has been booked after a woman working at the Kharar court alleged that he hit her car and abused her during an argument near the Kharar tehsil. The complainant, a resident of Gilco, Kharar, told police that the incident took place on November 26 when she was on her way to work. According to the victim, a car bearing registration number PB01D-2352, suddenly reversed and hit her vehicle. When she asked the driver to stop, he refused to cooperate and instead got aggressive, she alleged, adding that the man behaved rudely, shouted at her, and even used abusive language before speeding away, leaving her shaken. Based on her statement, police have registered a case against the unidentified driver under Sections 281 (rash driving), 78 (stalking), 324(4) (mischief), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
