Barnala, Oct. 18 -- Two men were killed on Friday after their motorcycle was hit by a Mahindra Scorpio near the Bhotna cut, close to the village bus stand. The deceased were identified as Buta Khan, 55, a resident of Chauhanke Khurd village, and Chirag Khan, 47 of Magewal. The duo was en route to Bhadaur when the accident occurred. According to SHO Nirmaljit Singh, the SUV was approaching from the Moga side when it collided with the motorcycle, leaving both riders critically injured. They were rushed to the civil hospital in Barnala, but succumbed to their injuries.
