Two arrested with 4 pistols in Bathinda
BATHINDA, April 27 -- The Bathinda district police on Saturday arrested two persons with four country-made pistols and eight cartridges, officials said.
The accused, identified as Sandeep Singh and Jaswinder Singh, have been booked under various sections of the Arms Act at Rampura city police station.
Superintendent of police (investigation) Jasmeet Singh Sahiwal on Sunday said that the accused were arrested on Saturday and the preliminary questioning revealed that they were intending to target Baggi Singh, a resident of Bhagta Bhai Ka village, due to a personal enmity.
"The accused sourced these weapons from one Rajvir Singh in Madhya Pradesh. A court sent the accused for a three-day remand, and our teams are working to gather further details after weapons and bullets were seized from their possessions," the SP said.HTC...
