Rohtak, Dec. 5 -- A 48-year-old truck driver and his 40-year-old helper were burnt alive after another truck, loaded with mustard bags, rammed into it near Kamod village in Charkhi Dadri on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday. The deceased have been identified as Rajesh Kumar, of Khanda Kheri village in Hisar and his helper Jaswant Singh, of Jind. A spokesman of Charkhi Dadri police said that the mishap took place when Rajesh and Jaswant were going from Madhya Pradesh to Jind in the truck loaded with paddy bags. "When they reached near Kamod village, another truck rammed into it from behind. Two persons travelling in another truck sustained burn injuries and are undergoing treatment in a hospital. After the collision, a truck loaded with paddy caught fire which then spread widely. Seven fire tenders were pressed into service to control the situation. An investigation has been started into the matter," the spokesman added....
