Tributes continue as Shatrughan meets Deols, PT Usha remembers Dharmendra

ctor Dharmendra, 89, died on November 24. As tributes continue to pour in, actor Shatrughan Sinha visited the Deol residence in Mumbai to meet the grieving family, while the head of Indian Olympic Associate, former athlete and parliamentarian PT Usha shared a remembrance of the actor's generosity.
Sinha reached the late actor's Mumbai home on Saturday after returning from Delhi to offer condolences in person. Sharing photos with Sunny and Bobby Deol on X, he wrote that he visited the family "with a very heavy sorrowful heart" and remembered Dharmendra as a remarkable figure whose influence extended far beyond cinema.
Meanwhile, Usha posted a personal memory on X, recalling a gesture of support from Dharmendra during her athletic career. She wrote that after she won four gold medals and one silver at the 1986 Asian Games, the actor sent her a cash reward of Rs.50,000 in recognition of her achievements: "We couldn't meet personally...but sometimes love and affection are enough to keep the hearts connected even 1000 miles apart.
