Trace the creative arc of artists at 'Blueprint'
India, Dec. 5 -- Before an artist paints a masterpiece, there is a moment far more intimate - the first line on paper, the instinctive mark that reveals identity before intention. Chandigarh's latest exhibition 'Blueprint' turns this quiet beginning into its central theme, inviting viewers to witness the genesis of artistic thought through the purity of drawing.
Conceptualised and curated by acclaimed artist Avijit Dutta and presented by Mehak Bhan, founder of 105arts, this exhibition will run from December 6 till January 6, 2026, at House no. 105, Sector 11, Chandigarh.
"Drawings hold an emotional and creative reservoir, an emblem of art awakenings, and eventually reveal the radiant finale of an artist. Blueprint is dedicated exclusively to drawings as an art form," says Dutta. The exhibition will feature an eclectic ensemble of 44 seasoned masters as well as senior contemporary, young, and aspiring artists whose works represent strong personal vision and meaningful contributions to today's visual discourse.
Calling galleries 'stepping stones' for artists, Dutta says that Chandigarh is the ideal venue for any exhibition. "This is the city that established the blueprint of a new, free India. One line changed it all. The same happens with an artist - the first line of thought determines how the work will develop and shape the artist's future," he adds.
"Drawing is intimate and foundational, yet rarely given the spotlight it deserves," says Bhan. "With Blueprint, we want viewers to experience that raw, honest, thinking-on-paper quality up close," she adds. HTC...
