TNAI inaugurates skill lab to advance life support training in Ludhiana
India, April 20 -- The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Punjab State Branch, has recently inaugurated its Advanced Nursing Simulation Centre at 105 HQ, Hambran Road, Ludhiana. The centre was formally inaugurated by Dr Annie Kumar, national president, TNAI. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr Jyoti Walia, national vice-president (north region). The event was attended by Evelyn P Kannan, secretary-general, TNAI, along with office bearers from TNAI headquarters, New Delhi, presidents of various state branches, and Dr Jasbir Kaur, patron, TNAI Punjab state branch. Dr Harmeet Kaur, president, TNAI Punjab state branch, highlighted the branch's efforts to strengthen nursing education. A key highlight of the event was the presentation on the skills lab initiative by Evelyn P Kannan, who emphasised the importance of simulation-based learning in improving clinical competence, critical thinking and patient safety.
Dr Kumar appreciated the efforts of the Punjab state branch under the leadership of Dr Harmeet Kaur, president and Dr Prabhjot Kaur Saini, secretary. She described the new centre as a significant milestone in advancing nursing education and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice.
The simulation centre was then formally inaugurated by the dignitaries, followed by an introduction to the skills lab by Jwalant, CEO, Delta Healthcare, who highlighted its advanced features and technology-enabled training environment.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Prabhjot Kaur Saini, secretary, TNAI Punjab state. htc...
