Jammu, Oct. 15 -- Three persons were killed and two other injured after three-wheeler collided head on with a bus in Katra on Tuesday, officials said. The bus was heading from Katra towards Udhampur when the accident took place near Serli check post in Katra. The deceased have been identified as auto driver Jeet Lal and pilgrims Vachitar Kumar Sahu, and Joginder Matari, 66, and the injured as Kavita Sahu and Sneh Lata Matari, all from Odisha, said officials, adding Sahu and Matari were here to pay obeisance at Vaishno Devi shrine. The pilgrims, after de-boarding a helicopter, were returning to Katra when the mishap occurred. The injured were referred to Jammu after preliminary treatment. A 45-year-old man died of heart attack after his 14-year-old ailing son died in his lap in Ramban district on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Shabir Ahmed Gania, 45, and his son Sahil Ahmed, 14, The man was on his way to a hospital. "Sahil collapsed in his father's lap on the way. Unable to bear the shock, his father suffered a heart attack and died," said a police officer.htc...
