India, Feb. 15 -- In an attempt to boost their initiatives and stepping into the world of digital entertainment, the officials of PTC Network announced a three-day Digital Film Festival Awards from February 15-17.

During a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club, on Friday, managing director and president of PTC Network, Rabindra Narayan, said more than 60 avant-garde movies were produced under their banner last year, of which 10 have been selected to be screened during the event.

"The aim is to break the rut that is Punjabi cinema today, and provide employment to young and talented artistes of Punjab, giving them a platform to showcase their versatility," he said.
