There's more to explore: F1 director on Tom Cruise's involvement in Top Gun 3
India, June 28 -- Joseph Kosinski's latest film F1 has been generating major buzz post-release, but the director already has plans for his next project.
He recently confirmed that he is indeed involved in Top Gun 3 and that the film is already in development. "I think we've found a way to do it," the 51-year-old said, adding, "Not only in the scale of what we're proposing, but the idea itself of the story we're telling. We're thinking much bigger."
While he remained tight-lipped about the details, the filmmaker told British GQ that the next instalment won't just be about death-defying stunts: "It's an existential question that Maverick (Tom Cruise) has to deal with."
He also confirmed that screenwriter Ehren Kruger, who worked with him on F1, is writing the screenplay.
While fans assumed 2022's Top Gun: Maverick was Tom's baton-passing moment, Joseph insists there's more to explore. "There's still more story to tell for him. There's one last ride. So we're working on it now," he ended....
