The SD Vidya School hosts waste segregation initiative
Ambala Cantt, June 3 -- In alignment with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, The SD Vidya School has launched a project aimed at waste segregation at the classroom level by students themselves. The project was inaugurated by the newly elected municipal councillors Shivaji Kakran and Rakesh Aggarwal. MoU has been signed by the newly elected municipal councilors and certified waste management NGOs, under which the segregated waste will be collected and sold responsibly. The funds generated will be utilised for educating slum children and supporting street beggars, turning waste into a tool for social upliftment.
