The SD Vidya School hosts SDV Next Gen Biz 2.0, inter-school fest
Ambala Cantt, Aug. 25 -- The SD Vidya School hosted SDV Next Gen Biz 2.0, a two-day inter-school fest. The event witnessed participation from over 156 budding entrepreneurs and orators representing leading schools from Ambala, Amritsar, Kurukshetra, and Chandigarh.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Rachana Roy, social activist and singer; president, Pratinidhi Sabha and vice-president, SD College Society, Desh Bandhu; director principal, Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu; vice-principal, Arun Goyal; coordinators and teachers of the participating schools. A cultural performance featured five events - Shark Tank, Biznomics Arena, Marketing Matrix, Psychquest, and Mock Parliament.
A panel of judges - Manhar Singla (pursuing MBA from Delhi University), Aashish Gupta (Business Law Graduate, Hons, from NLU Jodhpur), CA Saksham Aggarwal, Sakshi Arora (Founder, Ambala Mompreneurs and Founder, HuslAI.com), Deepasha Sharma (Trainee Counselling Psychologist, psycho-oncologist and pro-bono therapist, pursuing MA Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida), Waleed Ahmar (Founder, Scholarium Foundation), Aanya Sharma (Chief Marketing Officer at Resonancia), and Pratibh (President, Scholarium Foundation) - evaluated.
In Shark Tank, the first prize was won by Team Solace AI (Hetal Anand & Hetal Gulati, Cecil Convent School). In Biznomics Arena, the First Prize was earned by Gargi (MM International School, Ambala), while Jenesha Seth of St Kabir Public School was recognised as the Strategic Speaker. In Marketing Matrix, the First Prize was clinched by Team Pitch Perfect. In mock Parliament, the best Parliamentarian award went to Aayush Jain (The SD Vidya School). The Award for Maximum Participation was conferred upon OPS School, Ambala.
The closing ceremony was graced by Rahul Dogra (HCS), a proud alumnus of the school, who presented the awards. The president Rishabh Soni, emphasised the school's mission, saying, "If India is to be truly self-reliant, we must nurture a generation of job creators and innovators."...
