Ambala Cantt, May 20 -- To provide students with the opportunity to become a part of the prestigious National Cadet Corps (NCC), an enrollment session was conducted at The SD Vidya School on May 16, 2025. The session was specifically organised for the Class 8 girl students who aspire to join NCC. It was held under the supervision of the school's ANO, T/O Sukhvinder Kaur. A team of Pl staff from 1 HR Girls BN NCC, Ambala Cantt, visited the school to conduct the enrolment process. The aspiring cadets enthusiastically participated in a written examination followed by a physical fitness test. The school ground echoed with excitement and anticipation as the students waited for their turn. Candidates who successfully cleared both rounds of assessment will be eligible to join the NCC wing of the school. The selected cadets will undergo systematic training under expert NCC officers, gaining valuable experience in discipline, leadership, and national service. Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu, director-principal of the school, expressed that such initiatives play a vital role in building emotional, physical, and mental resilience among students.
