Ambala Cantt, July 24 -- The investiture ceremony at The SD Vidya School was held on July 21. The newly elected student council members were honoured with various posts during this grand ceremony conducted on the school premises. The chief guests of the event were the parents of the head boy and head girls of the senior wing were warmly welcomed with the beats of the school band. The school's director principal Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu, and Arun Goyal attended the occasion and ceremoniously adorned the council members with sashes. The programme commenced with an auspicious Ganesh Vandana. From the senior wing, Abhijeet Sharma was elected as head boy, while Yashasvi Bhatia and Prachi Sangwan were appointed as head girls. In the middle wing, Riyansh Veer Singh was declared the head boy, and Vanshika was elected as the head girl. A total of 45 students were entrusted with various roles such as discipline captain, sports captain, cultural captain, house captains, and vice captains. Under the leadership of the president of the school, BK Soni, the school continuously provides ample opportunities for students to evolve as capable leaders of the future.
