Ambala Cantt, Nov. 20 -- The SD Vidya School celebrated the Little Star Fest 2025 to mark Children's Day. The purpose of this two-day celebration was to provide young learners with a creative platform beyond the classroom where they could confidently showcase their talent, imagination, and skills. Special guests included Lieutenant Colonel Ramandeep Kaur( principal, Little Mellenium), Gaurav Khanna, (Principal Elnino International), Neha, (Principal ,Blossom Kindergarten), Ritu Dua, (Principal,Kidnest) and Tanu Kalra. The officiating Principal of the school, Arun Goyal, along with pre-primary heads, coordinators, parents, and representatives from various schools, also attended, making the programme even more remarkable. The celebration commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana that filled the entire atmosphere with purity and positivity. Around 150 children, aged 3 to 6 years, from various schools participated in Fancy Dress, Dance/Drama, and Clay Modelling competitions. Their colourful costumes and cheerful performances filled the school campus with joy and excitement. The objective of the Little Star Fest is to promote healthy competition, teamwork, creative thinking, and community participation. Such events build confidence, leadership qualities, and a spirit of cooperation among children, preparing them for future challenges. The fest also provided schools with an opportunity to come together, exchange ideas, and build long-term collaborative relationships.
